Guest satisfaction surveys, no apps and no friction

Measure CSAT and NPS with a simple QR scan. No downloads, no accounts, no endless forms. And if something goes wrong, you find out instantly and act while the guest is still in the hotel.

Why hotel surveys almost never work

CSAT and NPS are classic ways to measure satisfaction. CSAT asks how satisfied the guest is with something specific, like the room or breakfast. NPS asks how likely they are to recommend the hotel. Both are useful, but most hotels implement them in the worst possible way and then wonder why nobody answers.

The typical survey arrives by email three days after checkout, with fifteen questions, when the guest has already forgotten the details and has no desire to answer. The response rate is miserable, and the few answers that come in are no longer useful for acting on, because the guest left long ago and the public review is already written. You measure the past and cannot change a thing.

The alternative is to measure live, during the stay, with the least friction. A QR, one or two questions, seconds. If the answer is good, you reinforce what works. If the answer is bad, your team finds out right away and does something while the guest is still in the hotel. That window to act is the whole difference. The public review is the autopsy; in-stay feedback is the timely diagnosis.

What surveys people actually answer look like

Short, at the right moment and connected to action.

ACCESS

Just scan a QR

The guest downloads nothing and creates no account. They see the code in the room or in an area, scan it and answer from the browser on their own phone in seconds.

  • No apps, no accounts, no friction.
  • QR per room, area or staff member.
  • Works from any phone.
FORMAT

Short and clear

A star rating and an optional comment are enough to read satisfaction. No fifteen question forms that nobody finishes.

  • A one to five star rating.
  • An optional open comment.
  • Simple language, no technical jargon.
TIMING

During the stay

You ask while the experience is fresh and you can still react. Not three days later, when the guest has forgotten and you can no longer do anything.

  • Answers while the memory is vivid.
  • An open window to act in time.
  • A far better response rate.
ALERT

Instant heads up on low scores

A low rating does not sit buried in a report. It fires an alert to the team right away, so someone can go and fix it before checkout.

  • Immediate notification to the team.
  • Issue with pending or resolved status.
  • Service recovery on the spot.
RANKING

Who shines and who does not

Every answer feeds a real time ranking by room, area and person. You see with data where you are strong and where you need to improve.

  • Ranking by room, area and staff member.
  • Clear comparison across points.
  • Recognize the team that stands out.
CONTACT

Your own database

If the guest wants, they leave their contact when answering. You build a first-party database of your own, not an OTA’s, to continue the relationship later.

  • Optional contact capture.
  • First-party data that you own.
  • A base to build loyalty and re-invite.

From question to action in three steps

1

Place the QR where the experience happens

Put a code in the room, the front desk, the pool, the spa or the restaurant. Each point and each person can have their own, with no limit on codes.

2

The guest answers in seconds

Scan, rate from one to five stars and leave a comment if they want. No apps, no accounts, no endless forms. The answer arrives tagged by point.

3

You act before checkout

If the score is low, an alert fires and an issue opens. Your team fixes it while the guest is still in the hotel and avoids the negative review.

THE INCONVENIENT TRUTH

A survey that arrives three days after checkout measures the past. An in-stay one changes the present.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between CSAT and NPS?

CSAT measures how satisfied the guest is with something specific, like the room or breakfast. NPS measures how likely they are to recommend the hotel. Both can be captured simply with a scan, without long questionnaires.

Does the guest have to download an app to answer?

No. They scan the QR and answer from the browser on their own phone in seconds. No apps, no accounts, no mandatory sign up.

Why measure during the stay and not after?

Because during the stay the experience is fresh, the response rate is much higher and, above all, you can still act if something went wrong. After checkout it is too late and the public review is already written.

What happens when an answer is negative?

It triggers an instant alert to your team and opens a tracked issue, so someone can resolve it before the guest leaves. The survey does not just measure, it drives action. You invite everyone equally and quietly fix what went wrong.

Can I measure by area or by employee?

Yes. With different QR codes per room, area or person you see the real time ranking and know exactly where you are strong and where you need to improve.

Does improving the live experience really help reputation?

Yes. A study from Cornell’s Center for Hospitality Research, led by Chris Anderson, found that raising your online reputation by one point is associated with up to 1.42% more RevPAR, with a larger effect on independent and midscale hotels. Fixing things in time improves the real experience, and that improvement shows up in everyone’s reviews.
